Ink Review: Diamine Communication Breakdown (Germany Exclusive)

Today I’m reviewing Diamine Communication Breakdown ink. This is a Diamine exclusive ink made for the German market.

It wrote nicely wet with excellent flow on my coated papers and lubrication at the nib tip felt very smooth. I tried it in a Montblanc 147 with EF nib that I have always felt a bit too fine for my taste, but it wrote really nicely with Communication Breakdown ink.

Communication Breakdown is a reasonably saturated ink and might show through on some cheaper papers. It didn’t show through enough to prevent me from writing on the reverse of any of the papers I used.

The green sheen is more noticeable when writing on smooth papers with pens that have broader, wetter nibs.
